VentraIP Australia to acquire hosting and domain name customers of Summit Internet
VentraIP Australia, the largest independently owned provider of web hosting and domain name registrar services in Australia has today announced the acquisition of the hosting and domain name customers of Summit Internet, a Melbourne-based corporate online solution provider.
The acquisition will see over 1,000 high-value services transferred to VentraIP Australia. VentraIP Australia Chief Executive Officer, Angelo Giuffrida, said the acquisition, which was hinted at following the company’s trio of acquisitions last month, would add significant value to the company.
“Unlike most of the other acquisitions we’ve done in the past, the customers of Summit Internet are premium business customers and we’re very pleased to be able to welcome them to the VentraIP Australia family where they will now receive 24×7 technical support offered by our local team.”
Summit Internet will continue to focus on its core business of telecommunications and enterprise connectivity. Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Summit Internet, Greg Lipschitz, said he was thrilled to be working with VentraIP Australia.
“It has been clear for a few years that they are leading the way for shared hosting and domain names in Australia. It is their core business and they are the best at it. We want to ensure that our customers have the best service and experience possible. Our core focus is on our data and voice products, including expanding our carrier fixed wireless network Australia wide. Mr.Giuffrida also reconfirmed that further acquisitions were on the way alongside traditional marketing efforts. “We are currently working on others with hopes that we will close them before the end of the financial year.
