Describe your role/s at VentraIP Australia
I am a member of the Technical Support team. I am primarily responsible for dealing with a range of problems customers may run into. These include issues with websites, email problems, general enquiries.
I also respond to our service monitoring alerts, that alert our team when there is an issue with a server or service we provide to our customers. Finally, I spend time answering sales calls, where I mostly answer general questions, and sometimes get a few tricky ones!
You have a first class ticket to anywhere in the world. Where are you headed?
I’d head straight to Greece, so I can soak up the sun and drink lots and lots of margaritas.
How did you get the job at VentraIP Australia and how long have you been working here?
I have been working here for about 5 years and 4 months. Back then, the office was more or less a large room with some sectioned off offices for management, and we had less than 15 employees.
Old mate Shorty, who I knew before working at VentraIP, helped me land an interview. I was lucky enough to get the job, and ever since then it’s been a blast!
What is your favourite movie?
“English!? Do you speak it!?”. I hope you know what movie that is, otherwise we can’t be friends. Pulp Fiction is one of the best movies I have ever seen.
What is the best part of the VentraIP Australia office?
Annoying my Team Leader Kris with my terrible banter, and eating all the snacks. Working with Linux every day, and learning new things!
