VentraIP Australia Acquires Servers Australia Shared Hosting

VentraIP Australia, the largest independent domain name registrar in Australia, and Servers Australia, the largest dedicated server provider in Australia, have today announced an industry-first strategic agreement that will see the companies work together to focus on their respective target markets.
The agreement will see nearly 4,000 shared web hosting customers currently with Servers Australia acquired by VentraIP Australia and migrated to their hosting platform. In addition, VentraIP Australia will no longer sell dedicated servers and will market Servers Australia’s dedicated server products to their customer base.
VentraIP Australia Chief Executive Officer, Angelo Giuffrida, said the agreement and customer acquisition would be mutually beneficial for both companies and customers alike.

Servers Australia Chief Executive Officer, Jared Hirst, said the agreement and sale of his shared web hosting customers would allow his company to streamline its internal processes and move forward with a greater focus on their core product as the company prepares to make a further major announcement in the coming weeks.

Both companies share similar business models and cultures with both making the annual CRN Fast 50 list for 2015. Both CEO’s also hinted at further announcements from their companies in the near future.
