How do I create custom error pages within my cPanel?
Updated Friday August 18th 2017 / Category Advanced

To add another level of customization for your website you may wish to setup custom error pages so your clients/users don’t see the default 404, 500, etc error messages.

You will manage these through your cPanel via the following steps:

  1. Login to your cPanel service.
  2. Click the Error pages icon.
  3. Click on the error page type you wish to adjust.
  4. Enter the error text in the text box as required, and you can make use of some of the default tag options it providers to display additional data to the user.
  5. Click Save.

That’s it, you have now created a custom error page; edit each one to suit as required.
