Information regarding a transfer of domains from 'VentraIP Wholesale' to 'Synergy Wholesale'
Updated Friday March 5th 2021 / Category Domain Names

Important: Your domains will remain with VentraIP Australia and in your VIPControl account just as they are now. Nothing will change. We’re just doing some housekeeping.

More information…

On 15/01/2018 some VentraIP Australia customers will have received an email from Synergy Wholesale informing them of a transfer from ‘VentraIP Wholesale’ to ‘Synergy Wholesale’.  Synergy Wholesale are our domain wholesaler and are a sister company of ours.  They were previously called VentraIP Wholesale and are currently in the process of updating WHOIS data for their domains so that the registrar shows the current “Synergy Wholesale” name.

The email was just to notify domain registrants that the Registrar of Record on the WHOIS data for their domain name will actually be updated to say “Synergy Wholesale” instead now. In order to comply with auDA policy in order to make the change Synergy Wholesale (the registrar for any domains purchased with VentraIP Australia) was required to send mandatory emails to each domain registrant before the process can be completed. Synergy Wholesale was required to send a notice 30 days and 7 days before the change could take place.

Below is a timeline for the emails we’re they’re required to send. If you have any queries or concerns about the process please don’t hesitate to submit an eTicket or get in touch with our support team by phone.

Monday, 15 January 2018 30-day notice sent to registrants
Wednesday, 7 February 2018 7-day reminder notice sent to registrants
Wednesday, 14 February 2018 Domain names submitted for transfer
