Renewing a .au priority application
.AU Priority Applications made during the Priority Allocation Period are valid until 20 Sept 2023. Applicants will need to renew their applications to continue to contest the .au domain they have applied for.
If the applicant does not renew their priority application, the application will be withdrawn from the priority process. The applicant will no longer be in contention to register the .au direct domain name.
The application renewal date is 20th September every year (unless of course, the domain is no longer in contention).
VentraIP will send application renewal notices 90 days before their expiry.
You can also manually renew the application once it has less than 90 days of registration left on it if you like by going to renew the .au application.
This can be done via the same method you would renew an already registered domain name.
