Troubleshooting Google Business Profile Connections with rippaMarketing
This guide will go over troubleshooting some common issues when connecting rippaMarketing up to your Google Business Profile.
Address issues
If you’re having issues with the Address section, below are some common troubleshooting methods you can try:
- Log into VIPcontrol
- Click on ‘My Services’ → ‘Marketing’ → ‘Dashboard’ next to your rippaMarketing service.
- Once on the rippaMarketing dashboard, click on ‘General → ‘Business’.
- Make sure that you did not enter the same phone number in the “TEL” field and the “MOBILE/CELL” field. If you only have one Phone number, enter it in the “TEL” field and leave the “MOBILE/CELL” field blank.
- Check if the postcode is correct and is the right format, make sure that there is no spaces.
- Check if the address you entered in rippaMarketing matches an existing address on Google Maps. If the address used there is a bit different, please enter the address in rippaMarketing as it is on Google Maps.
- Make sure to click on all the boxes in the address section, as this will trigger a validation check on each field.
Description issues
When setting up or editing your description and you encounter any issues, check to see if:
- The description is under the total word count.
- There are no URL’s present in the description.
Photo gallery issues
- The maximum amount of photos supported is 30.
- If you have more than 30 photos, please remove some to be under the maximum.
Keyword issues
- The maximum length of a keyword is 64 characters.
Once you go through this checklist, you should be able to Sync your Google Business Profile again successfully!
