Updating your Email Settings on iOS (iPhone + iPad)

Here are the steps you need to take in order to check the email account settings on an iPhone:

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Select Mail
  3. Select Accounts
  4. Select the account you want to check the settings for.
  5. Select Account (your email address will be next to it).
  6. In the next screen, you will be able to see your main email software settings.
    You will need to tap Advanced for IMAP/incoming settings, and tap SMTP for outgoing settings. Please do not change the IMAP path prefix setting.
