Spark for iOS Email Software Setup (iPhone and iPad)

This guide explains how to set up your email in Spark on iOS. These instructions apply to both cPanel and Dedicated Email Hosting accounts.

Server settings

For Server/Hostname fields:

  • If you use VentraIP Dedicated Email hosting, enter:
    ventraip.email
  • If you use VentraIP cPanel Hosting, enter:
    mail.yourdomain.com(replace yourdomain.com with your domain)

Setup

  1. Open Spark and Enter your email address and Click ‘login‘.
  2. Click Advanced Settings. Spark iOS Setup 1
  3. Enter Incoming (IMAP) Server Settings:
    • Email: Enter your email (e.g., user@vipguides.au)
    • User name: Enter your email (e.g., user@vipguides.au)
    • Password: Your email password (Forgotten password? Click here to reset)
    • Server:
      Dedicated Email Hosting: ventraip.email
      cPanel Email Hosting: mail.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain)
    • Port: 993
    • Security: SSL
  4. Enter Outgoing (SMTP) Server Settings:
    • User name: Enter your email (e.g., user@vipguides.au)
    • Password: Your email password (Forgotten password? Click here to reset)
    • Server:
      Dedicated Email Hosting: ventraip.email
      cPanel Email Hosting: mail.yourdomain.com (replace yourdomain.com with your actual domain)
    • Port: 465
    • Security: SSL

  5. Click ‘Log In’ and follow any final personalisation or Setup Prompts.

    Note: In Spark, you may get an error regarding needing to re-authenticate, this can typically be skipped/ignored.
