Renewing Your Domain Name
Domain renewal rules depend on the type of domain you have.
-
.au domains (e.g. .com.au, .org.au):
Due to registry rules, .au type domains can only be renewed within 90 days of their expiry date.
-
gTLD domains (e.g. .com, .net, .org):
These can usually be renewed at any time, even if they are not close to expiry. Many people choose to renew or extend them well in advance for peace of mind.
PayID and BPAY payments may take anywhere between 1-3 business days to process, so please make sure that you pay in advance of the expiry date for your domain if using either of these methods.
