Step Three: Setup your email accounts in cPanel

Setting up your new email account(s) is probably one of the first things you want to do, and thankfully it’s an easy process. As you have completed Step Two of our Getting Started series, you’re now in cPanel and you can follow these steps to setup your new email account(s):

  1. Login to your cPanel service.
  2. Click on the Email Accounts icon on your cPanel home screen.
  3. You will now see a Create Account form; here you will enter the email address you wish to create, password and set a mailbox quota (250MB is often sufficient).
  4. Click Create Account.

Congratulations, your email account is now created and it’s now ready  to set it up in your preferred email program or mobile/tablet device.

If you want to access your email via webmail, you can do so at any time by going to http://webmail.domain.com (where you replace domain.com with your actual domain name).
