Easily create a WordPress site using app installers

There are two key ways to install WordPress on our hosting platform. There is no major functional differences between our app installers – we offer two for your personal preference.

You can also manually install WordPress using their official guide.

Installatron

  1. Log in to your cPanel service.
  2. Navigate to Installatron Applications Installer.
  3. Click on the Applications Browser tab.
  4. Scroll down, and select WordPress.
  5. Click Install This Application.
  6. Fill out the form with your desired installation options
    • Remember to note down the username and password in a secure place.
  7. Finally, click Install at the bottom right of the page.

Softaculous

  1. Log in to your cPanel service.
  2. Click the Softaculous Apps Installer icon.
  3. Hover over the WordPress option and select Install.
  4. Complete the form as required;
    1. Choose the domain to install the site to.
    2. In Directory should be left blank unless you want the site to be under a certain folder.
  5. Ensure you set a strong admin password (greater than 60 strength).
  6. Click Install.

WordPress Toolkit*

*Available add-on for your hosting plan. Not available on retired plans.
  1. Log in to cPanel.
  2. Click on WordPress Toolkit under Applications.
  3. Click Install under the Installations tab.
  4. In the installation menu that appears, there will be quite a few options. At a minimum, you should adjust the following:
    1. Set the Installation Path to HTTPS and select the domain name you want to install WordPress under.
    2. Set your desired Website Title (this can be always be changed later).
    3.  Select a Plugin/Theme Set – we recommend WordPress Essentials.
    4. Set the Version to the latest available version.
    5. Ensure that you note down the WordPress Administrator Username, Password and Email.
    6. Advanced users may want to modify the database and update settings, but this is not necessary.
  5. Click Install.
